The new My WellBeing features in the Signia app act as a valuable tool in encouraging wearers to use their hearing aids more consistently. Hearing well is important because people who leave their hearing loss untreated could be at greater risk of cognitive decline and dementia.2
In addition to helping your patients hear better on the move, the hearing aids’ in-built motion sensor allows them to see exactly how many steps they take each day (My Steps) and how active they are (My Activity). The app even shows them how consistently they are using their hearing aids (My WearTime) and socially interacting with others (My Conversations3 ).
Because privacy is important to many people, all data is only visible in the app and is not stored anywhere else.
The HandsFree feature that lets wearers use their Signia AX hearing aids for hands-free calls via Bluetooth® with their iPhone or iPad can now also be controlled with the hearing aids. Incoming calls can be accepted (short press), rejected (long press) and ended (long press) with the rocker switch / push button of Pure Charge&Go AX, Pure 312 AX and Insio Charge&Go AX. An innovative tapping control allows wearers of Styletto AX (no switch/button) to accept and end calls simply by double-tapping their hearing aid. For wearers to use this new CallControl function, please make sure it is activated for their hearing aid in Connexx.
HandsFree gives wearers more freedom to combine mobile phone calls with other activities or to listen to music/podcasts via their hearing aids. By using the patented dual processing of Signia AX, background noise is reduced, allowing hearing aid wearers to hear clearly what is being said on the phone. And the hearing aid’s directional microphone lets conversation partners hear the wearer’s voice in high quality.
Now you can set your navigation in Connexx to suit your personal preferences. You can determine the order of the items in the 2nd and 3rd level navigation, for example First Fit, Tinnitus and Fine Tuning, and also hide many of them, including all 3rd level navigation items such as Frequency Compression. This innovation empowers you to customize your navigation so that you can select your frequently-used functionalities with ease.
Thanks to the new customizable navigation in Connexx, you can set up the fitting workflow exactly the way you want it, and multiple offices can further standardize their fitting protocol.
And the new combined data logging page lets you see what happened since your client’s last appointment in one unified dashboard, combining information from the hearing aid, Signia Assistant, TeleCare and the Signia app with the option of diving into greater detail.
