myControl App: Opening up a new dimension in Bluetooth-driven hearing.

The new myControl App has been specifically designed as the companion accessory for the Pure 13 BT hearing aid, delivering better than normal hearing* tailored to the wearer’s individual lifestyle.

The app delivers access to our successful features like our previous apps while providing new and exciting relay-less remote control of Pure 13 BT hearing aids. It allows for quick and easy changes to the likes of volume and programs and delivers a new level of personalization thanks to advanced adjustment options. These options include adjusting the volume individually for the left and the right ear, selecting which notification tones should be active, and at what intervals to receive a low battery signal.

Delivering patient insights

Sound exposure, another useful feature of the new smartphone app, helps wearers to look after their hearing health. Similiar to a fitness tracker, the app creates a personal sound profile over time based on the hearing aids’ noise exposure. Based on this profile, you can help your patients to protect their hearing from deteriorating further.

In combination with the myHearing App for Signia TeleCare 2.0, you can deliver all-round support to your patients based on totally objective data logging of the hearing aids’ performance in different acoustic environments.

The world’s first hearing aid to use motion sensors

As detailed in a previous blogpost, the myControl App enables Pure 13 BT to deliver the best possible hearing while the wearer is on the move, for peace of mind whatever comes their way. * Study conducted at the University of Northern Colorado, 2015, examined the effectiveness of the new features of primax by collecting and analyzing ongoing EEG data while subjects performed speech testing. For both primax features SpeechMaster and EchoShield, the objective brain behavior measures revealed a significant reduction in listening effort when the feature was activated.
